Synopsis of "Samurai Elf: Bull's Eye" (vol. 2)

Samurai Elf: Bull’s Eye leads us into a darker, more disturbing world, where we see the ruthless depravity of the Horde as they continue their bloody search for Ardan. This latest installment follows Ardan and Keegan as they reach they city of Castel, but tempers run high as they try to understand why Ardan is in the crosshairs. The two fight their way through low life thugs, black market pirates, two bounty-hunting dwarves in hot pursuit, and the Horde’s most vicious death machines, The Hunters. The Horde marches the planet towards a horrific future as their enigmatic mastermind is poised to unleash his cybernetic army on an unsuspecting world.

What happens when a boy who thinks he’s a wolf meets up with the Monkey King and an Amazon princess and they haphazardly travel through time in the ancient world? An idiotic romp of epic proportions! Miguel Guerra Bio

Miguel Guerra is the creator, artist and writer of the Samurai Elf® series and the soon to come all ages graphic novel series, Alric the Wild™. He has published short stories in smaller publications like Antarctic Press and now publishes in Heavy Metal Magazine. Miguel was born in Madrid to an American father and a Madrileña mother. He grew up in Spain, Canada and the U.S., which explains his many stylistic influences, including Japanese, European and American art. He excels at blending all of his influences to create an original art style that many reviewers have said is like reading an animated film.

From 2003-2007, he worked as a translator for NBM Publishing (Spanish to English). Some of his more popular translations include, Fantastic Art and Dark Labyrinth by Luis Royo, and Daily Delirium by Miguelanxo Prado.  He is currently a translator for Heavy Metal Magazine, both short stories for the magazine and books such as Lorna: The Black Towers by Alfonso Azpiri, The Forgotten by Cris Ortega.

Suzy Dias Bio

Suzy Dias is the Editor-In-Chief and main writer for Iberian Press. She is the editor and co-writer of the Samurai Elf® series, and the co-creator and writer of an all ages graphic novel series called Alric the Wild™ (coming soon). How does she work with Miguel? Once he hands her the initial script (he knows exactly where he wants the story to go), she keeps true to the plot while working on the dialogue and adding important details (character personalities, history of the planet and a plausible scientific basis for all of Miguel's fantastic creatures and vehicles).

Suzy was born in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Her parents immigrated to Canada from Portugal and were kind enough to teach her the language, which she speaks fluently. She works in the financial/marketing field for over a decade, and for the last several years has worked as a Project Manager at a leading financial information services company in New York City.

Suzy loves to spin a good yarn, especially in the form of children's and young adult books. Her topics range anywhere from theoretical physics to fairy tales to sci fi/adventure. She purposefully uses traditional themes to carry readers into worlds of sublime nonsense. She excels at what she calls, “children's vaudeville,” where ridiculous situations provide opportunities to elevate her humble heroes. Suzy and Miguel have many future projects in the works that they hope to publish in the next few years so stay tuned.
